Speed, Agility & Football Skills Clinic
  JTSE is sponsoring a Speed, Agility and Football Skills Clinic for 11-15 yr olds. This clinic, held every Tuesday 6-8pm, and open to the public. Please email mcquoidj@gmail.com if you would like to attend. Walk-ons accepted and details are as follows:

Location: FAYFL practice facility behind Spotsylvania Middle School
Time: 6-8pm
Eligibility: Ages 11-15
Costs: Free for 2010 Registered FAYFL Members
$10 per session for all others
(Make Checks Payable to FAYFL)

JTSE Summer Shootout (7-on-7 Tournament)
FAYFL is hosting the first annual JTSE Summer Shootout. This 7-on-7 tournament is aligned to AYF National Divisions but does not require weigh-ins. All players must provide proof of age via a walker ID, Military ID, Passport, or original birth certificate in combination with a photo ID. This is a competitive tournament and participating teams will play a minimum of three games. Please email mcquoidj@gmail.com if you would like to attend. Tournament details are as follows:

Date: Saturday July 24th
Location: Spotsylvania Middle School (location may change)
Eligibility: Any team formed using AYF National Division Guidelines
Costs: $250 per team
Team Size: Limited to 12 players per team
Other: Team registration and payment must be in by June 30th.

  
Accepting Registration Now

FAYFL teams are now accepting registrations for the 2010 season. We will field teams in the Tiny Mite, Mighty Mite, Cadet, Jr. Pee Wee, Pee Wee, and Jr Midget divisions. The Canes, Colts and Jr Midget Bears teams will fill up quick so register now. You must add your information to the Join FAYFL Link Above then fill out and mail in registration form (located on the Forms, Policies link) and check in ordered to be officially registered on a team. Payment plans are avialable and a $50 down payment gets you started.

All particpants are required to fill out the 2010 registration form located on the Forms, Policies page. If looking for a team please leave your information on the Join FAYFL page and we will contact you. Payment plans can be set up but full payments must be recieved before July 27, 2010. An additional $20 charge will be included for all registration made after July 1, 2010. Please contact Jerry McQuoid at mcquoidj@gmail.com or one of our head coaches for more information on joining one of our championship teams.

Bears win 2009 AYF JPW Div 1 National Championship

Please join me in congratulating our 2009 AYF Division 1 JPW National Champion Bears. The Bears, coaching staff, and parent’s hard work has paid off. The Bears have brought home the first AYF National Championship to the area. They are also the first FAYFL team to win a National Championship. I think the entire community is proud to have such great players, coaching staff and parents. They have represented us all with the utmost sportsmanship and character. Their performance at Nationals and a 27-0 championship game win has extended their winning streak to 42 consecutive games. Congratulations to Coach Wood and team….

FAYFL Celebrates Six Years with American Youth Football
FAYFL, a member of the Virginia American Youth Football Alliance (VAYFA) and American Youth Football (AYF), is a nationally competitive football program focused on training the youth of our community for the next level of play. With six straight seasons AYF and VAYFA, FAYFL prides themselves in not only teaching its youth the game of football but building boys into young disciplined men. Not only do our young men excel in the game of football and life, they are positive contributors and role models within our community.
FAYFL Mighty Mite and Jr Pee Wee Bears Compete in AYF Championships
Congrats to our Mighty Mite and Jr Pee Wee Bears for being the first FAYFL teams to compete in the AYF Regional & National Championship Tournaments. The JPW Bears have brought home the VAYFA Div 1 Championship, dominated in Virginia Beach to win the AYF State Championship., and placed 3rd in the AYF Div 1 Atlantic Regionals. Although they lost the Semi Final AYF regional game they finished with a powerful win against the North Carolina State Champion Mint Hill Mountaineers.

The MM Bears finished their season 13-0 winning the VAYFA, FAYFL Harvest Bowl and AYF MM Invitational in Orlando Florida. The powerful Bears defense allowed only 6 first downs and were un-scored on in the 2008 season. This year’s performance extended their winning streak to 26 games. Way to go Bears and we look forward to another successful season in 2009. Read more
